Back in the 90s, as a young couple, we explored Southeast Asia and fell in love with the foods the regions have to offer. We loved the diversity curries had amongst a range of countries. We returned home to San Diego and reunited with our friends from around the world to foster this love of global cuisine.
Reflecting on our recent experiences, we thought about the opportunity to show our neighbors in San Diego some of the flavors of the world through curry. We knew curry was going to be an exotic dish to the Southern California palette, and we wanted to make the dishes accessible to people from all walks of life.
Here we are today, still sharing that vision from 1995.
We loved the idea of creating an environment where you could try many different curries from all over the world without having to travel the world to do so.
